CPRXA native of Chartres, France, CPRX studied successively at the Conservatory of Luce, of Tours, and the Raincy before attending the courses of Maurice Bourgue at the International Academy of Music in Saluzzo, Italy. He continued his studies at the Paris Conservatoire where he earned first prize in Oboe and Chamber Music. In addition, he studied conducting with Jean Marc Cochereau and composition with Desire Dondeyne and Jean Michel Damase.

A holder of the "Certificat d'Aptitude" for teaching the oboe in 1996, he was appointed professor of oboe at the EMM Tremblay in France and is a lecturer at the Ecole Normale de Paris. In September 1998, he joined the Conservatory of Cholet where he teaches oboe performance and chamber music. In 2009 he wrote a book on the technique of the oboist Frédéric Potet "le hautbois à l'envers."

CRPX is invited regularly to play in such orchestras as l'Orchestre Symphonique Français, l' Orchestre de Bretagne, l'Ensemble Inter-Contemporain, l' Opéra de Rouen or Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire, and has performed under the baton of Pierre Boulez, John Axelrod, Marek Janowski and Laurent Petitgirard.

As a member of the wind octet Nepomuk and baroque trio 5.3, he is also the principal oboe of the ensemble of modern music Utopik.

Beyond classical music, he also participates in other eclectic projects covering a variety of musical styles: Afro- jazz with Ray Lema, jazz with Dee Dee Bridgewater, Movie-music with William Scheller, Ennio Moricone and Laurent Petitgirard, electro hip hop with OBO, and classic rock with Procol Harum (for TV) and with the Belgian group DAAU during their tour in France in 2007 and as Principal Oboe of ClassicalRock.

Since 2006, his compositions or arrangements have been played by the musicians of the ONPL, the Opera de Rouen, for the octet Nepomuk, at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique de Lyon and the orchestra Opus 76. In 2011, he was commissioned to write music for the great contest "petites mains symphoniques" In 2012, he created with ensemble Kundalini, an arrangement of the Goldberg Variations for sitar, oboe, viola da gamba, harpsichord and tabla. He will participate in the creation of a concerto for family and orchestra with John Axelrod for ONPL.
